Right move
To the editor:
The residents of Lawrence should be singing praises and sighing with relief over the news that our city government has taken over the management and maintenance of Memorial Park Cemetery. While we often complain and disagree on many issues, I think we can all agree that maintaining Memorial Park is a priority for all Lawrencians and an example of what happens when our city government is sensitive and responsive to the collective heart of its constituents.
Sometimes there is a clear difference between right and wrong. This was clearly the right thing for our city leaders to do considering the circumstances. Thanks.
