Much kindness
To the editor:
Last Saturday, I took my two young grandsons to the Art Tougeau parade. On the way home, we drove through the drive-through at Wendy’s. At the exit, my daughter’s car spewed out smoke, to the point that I thought the car was on fire. I immediately got my grandsons out of the car and into Wendy’s.
The reason I am writing this letter is to thank all the kind folks who helped me. Two people offered me their cell phones to call for help. One gentleman got the car out of the exit and parked away from the building. This man and his wife even offered to put the car seats in their car and drive us to my home. Thank you all so much for your kindness.
