Burglaries and thefts reported

  • Baldwin Police are investigating the theft of three all-terrain vehicles and a riding lawn mower from Heritage Tractor Inc., 915 Industrial Road, Baldwin. The theft happened between 8 p.m. Wednesday and early Friday. Vehicles taken include a camouflage four-wheeler, a John Deere Gator and a Polaris Ranger.

Total value was estimated at $62,000. Police are asking anyone with information to call the Crime Stoppers hot line at 843-TIPS.

  • A Kansas University student reported a nylon hamper full of clothing stolen about 8:30 p.m. Friday from the 1500 block of Louisiana Street.
  • Someone stole bicycles, an air-conditioner window unit and other items valued at $1,463 total from a home in the 1200 block of Brook Street. It happened between 5 a.m. April 29 and 4:30 p.m. May 10.
