Both the Free State High and Lawrence High soccer teams will have to play on the road in Class 6A sub-states Tuesday.

The Firebirds (2-13-1) were the No. 7 seed and will travel to Manhattan to face the No. 2-seeded Indians (11-3-1) at 6:15 p.m.

The Lions (3-13) were the No. 6 seed and will go to Washburn Rural (10-6), the No. 3 seed, for a 6 p.m. contest.
