Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A group of roommates reported $2,455 in property, including video games and DVDs, stolen between 10:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Sunday from their apartment in the 2400 block of Alabama Street.

Injury accidents

  • Lawrence police and medical personnel responded to an injury accident involving a pickup truck and a car near Sixth and Maine streets shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday. Details about the accident were not available Thursday night, but one person was taken to the hospital with a head laceration.
