Production renter assists news program
A truck and generator with a company specializing in equipment needed for television and audio productions could be seen Monday in downtown Lawrence.
Lights On, which is based in Kansas City, Mo., Omaha, Neb., and Minneapolis, Minn., was in town to assist with CBS news program “48 Hours,” according to a Lights On employee.
A crew with “48 Hours” was in town in February and March covering the murder trial of former Kansas State University professor Thomas E. Murray. In March, Murray was convicted in the murder of his ex-wife, Carmin D. Ross.
