Responsible act

To the editor:

Everyone has bad days, my daughter included. Newly married, a new baby, barely getting by on one income and a couple of cars that need repairs, it seems, every month. We try to help keep the insurance on one and help with repairs for the car that carries her and the baby from here to there. I want to thank the person (even though I don’t know their name) who backed into her car and left her name and phone number for any repairs.

Mind you this car is not the greatest looking thing, but it runs and gets my daughter and baby from here and there, and for someone to realize that even though it’s not a great looking car they took the responsibility of doing what every good citizen should.

Even though it was minor and no repairs were needed, from a mother’s point of view my faith has been renewed in the goodness of people. It shows my daughter there is goodness in the world even when times are hard. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.
