Law enforcement report

• A 38-year-old Lawrence woman reported an aggravated assault happened early Sunday morning in the 1100 block of East 13th Street.
• A 25-year-old Lawrence man reported a case of aggravated battery occurred Thursday night in the 900 block of East 23rd.
• A 23-year-old Lawrence woman reported an aggravated battery happened early Friday morning in the 600 block of Kasold Drive.
• A 34-year-old Lawrence woman reported a case of aggravated battery in the 1500 block of Vermont.
• A 53-year-old Lawrence woman reported $1,200 worth of damage to a 1992 Chrysler LeBaron convertible. The damage happened between 3 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1900 block of East 18th Street.
• Free State High School, 4700 Overland Drive, reported vandalism to its baseball facility. It was thought to have occurred between 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Knives were used to damage netting on a portable batting cage, a windscreen, banners and a distance sign. A damage assessment was still being determined.
• Woodlawn School notified police March 18 that a fifth-grade boy was found with a pocket knife in his backpack. There was no incident with the knife, but it was discovered during the after-school program. The student’s parents were called, and disciplinary action was taken.

Burglaries and thefts reported

• A 19-year-old Lawrence man reported a burglary and theft that happened Thursday morning in the 2300 block of Murphy Drive. The $1,080 estimated loss of items included clothes and a digital camera.
• A 51-year-old Lawrence woman reported a burglary and theft that occurred Friday afternoon in the 400 block of Indiana. Items taken included two rings, a pearl necklace and a DVD/VCR combo. The loss is estimated at $3,100.
• A 35-year-old Lawrence man reported the theft of a Mercury Mountaineer valued at $9,500. The incident happened Wednesday in the 1300 block of George Court.
