Led by love

To the editor:

When going to the polls on April 5, please remember that God’s love is not just His love for us. Most importantly, it is the love we extend to one another. The highest commandment is that we love one another. Neither God, nor Christ would legislate hate, prejudice, intolerance and discrimination. If such a legislation is passed, where will it stop and what consequences lie ahead? Are we starting to make it illegal for some people even to exist?

Please consider the consequences of depriving some people of their right to the pursuit of happiness and how it might affect our own salvation. We must take actions that bring love to life, making it (love) the organizing principle behind all of our endeavors.
