To the editor:
The two of us are avid Jayhawk basketball fans and wish to thank all of the people who have acted in good conduct to make us proud during our years of watching the ‘Hawks!
Our comment is in support of Coach Bill Self and his policy of not contacting any of his former Illinois players until they have completed their eligibility.
That type of integrity reinforces our joy that we now have a coach with the kind of “class” that one would expect of a Division I college coach.
Thanks again, Bill, you will always be thought of at a different level and much better than, as the slogan goes, your last win.
