One too many
To the editor:
Sidewalk dining! Was the first sidewalk dining area one too many? Those who approved that variance should have known that, at some time, there would be an outcry of “me too,” “unfair,” “level the playing field,” etc. Where will it stop? Sidewalks were made for access to businesses, not as an extension of a business. We are now wasting the city’s staff time and pay to process applications for business extensions that should never have been allowed to begin with.
