Proud Phog
To the editor:
I read your June 9 article about raising funds for cancer research and Brendon Allen with great interest. I know Milton “Mickey” Allen Jr., Brendon’s father. We work in the same office suite and I have had contact with Mickey almost daily during Brendon’s treatment and recovery from cancer. Your article did not mention that Brendon is the great-grandson of the legendary Coach Phog Allen. Having seen the fortitude, determination and support within the Allen family, I am confident that “The Phog” would be very proud of Brendon, his wife, Peony, and his entire family.
