Football all-star game tonight

— Six city high school football standouts and one area prep player will take part in the K.C. Metro All-Star football game at 7 tonight in Liberty, Mo.

Free State High seniors Philip Weinmaster, Jarvis Doleman, Jamie Resseguie and Danny Pike are set to suit up in the showcase along with Lawrence High's Jeff Colter and Ian Handshy, who is one of three future Kansas University players in the game.

Preferred walk-on Adam Booth of Leavenworth High and KU signee Justin Thornton of St. Joseph, Mo., are set to play as well.

Baldwin's Ricky Baker rounds out the area participants.
