To the editor:

On May 14, due to momentary carelessness on my part, my vehicle collided with another at the corner of Seventh and New Hampshire. Neither the other driver nor myself were injured, but my car suffered considerable damage. Thankfully, hers didn’t.

The reason for my writing is to thank the people who came to my assistance and stayed with me until my daughter and husband arrived. The ladies who came from the little cafe on the south side of Seventh Street and the lady whose pickup truck I hit, were kind and supportive, and I want to publicly thank each of you who were there for me. You were a blessing to me that day, and I pray God will bless you in return.
