Roundabout circus
To the editor:
Let’s see, roundabouts, the latest thing the traffic department has come up with to waste more taxpayers money!
I have a suggestion for the high-paid leaders of the city of Lawrence. I will be in favor of roundabouts if one is installed at the intersections of 11th, 10th, Ninth, Eighth and Seventh streets on Massachusetts.
This could bring a lot of people downtown to watch the traffic circus and maybe some of them would even do some shopping. I would if I could find a table by a window in one of the downtown eateries!
Think about this project or else forget about installing roundabouts in the residential areas of Lawrence.
