Not harmless

To the editor:

Although a so-called teen “prank” led to the capture of a murder suspect (Journal-World, May 28), we need to understand what the teens were doing was not only illegal, but dangerous as well. If they were to do the same thing, and throw rocks off an overpass, instead of a parking garage, they would be doing far more than making mischief.

Every year people are seriously injured and killed by such “pranks.” We need to send a message out that what these kids did was a crime as well, and not just a harmless prank.
