Addiction to pornography causes men to do things they would not otherwise do, irrational things, like strangle their wives. These Christian men are victims of a compulsion they did not want and are powerless to control. This happens because Christian men suffer from guilt associated with the repressed fulfillment of sexual desire.

News flash: The Roman Catholic Church pays millions of dollars to compensate the victims of priests who abuse young boys. These priests are victims of a compulsion they did not want and are powerless to control. This happens because the vow of celibacy forces priests to repress the fulfillment of sexual desire.

News flash: Naughty but Nice, an “adult shop,” located on Massachusetts Street, sells sexually oriented merchandise and is being forced to move to a less obvious location, “on the highway.”

Conclusion 1: Sexual desire causes crime.

Conclusion 2: Pornography causes sexual desire.

Conclusion 3: The man did not murder his wife, pornography did.

Conclusion 4: The priest did not abuse the child, pornography did.

Conclusion 5: People cannot control themselves, their actions, or their decisions; so government must be used to stop us from harming ourselves.

The Solution: Ban pornography.
