Recycling needs
To the editor:
Congratulations to the city commissioners for adopting the outdoor dining guidelines. The revisions were minor and provide a good foundation for review of future dining areas.
Wouldn’t it be nice if those guidelines included mandatory recycling by the restaurant or bar in order to use the sidewalk area? And, that the city of Lawrence was going to provide a new recycling center not too distant from downtown.
