Wrong course

To the editor:

It is so sad there has been another terrorist attack in England, another sad event with more injuries and deaths. One has to wonder what the world would be like today if our president had chosen to stay the course and fought the ones that attacked us and are taking the credit for the attack on London.

But no, he chose to spend billions of dollars, with lots of Americans and Iraqis killed, to go off in another direction instead of going after the group responsible. I think by not going after bin Laden and his followers, the president left them to their evil devices and we are still at war in a country where we have no business being. No WMD, no connections to bin Laden and NO threat to the United States. Yes, Mr. Bush, we need to stay the course, but not the course you picked to follow.
