Chamber, United Way co-sponsor awards
The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Douglas County are co-sponsors of the Spirit of Caring Awards, which recognize local business that are leaders in strengthening the community through charitable giving and the promotion of volunteerism.
Special recognition and a trophy will be awarded to the winner at the chamber’s Leadership Lawrence celebration April 29. Organizations interested in applying for the award can obtain application forms at the offices of the United Way of Douglas County, 2518 Ridge Court, or the chamber, 734 Vt., Suite 101.
