Hooters logic
To the editor:
Obviously, no one has informed the owners of Hooters that Lawrence, Kan., has a smoking ban in place. The logic escapes me as to why a national chain like Hooters would want to come to a city where bars and restaurants are struggling, supposedly, because of a smoking ban.
If the smoking ban is so devastating to the bar and restaurant business, then why is Hooters considering opening an establishment in Lawrence? I wonder.
