Helping hands
To the editor:
With all the bad news in our world today, it is great to know that there is still kindness around us. A week ago, as we were preparing to leave for our vacation, one of our dogs slipped out and quickly disappeared. Without the efforts of many caring individuals we would not have been reunited with our dog. We would like to publicly thank our neighbors, our daughter and son-in-law, Sharron from Housekeeping Unlimited and the Lawrence Humane Society.
