To the editor:
I would like to commend you for your editorial condemning the booing in Allen Fieldhouse. I, too, was ashamed to read that and have told many friends both personally and through e-mails. Perhaps it reflects our current culture and the great emphasis on winning above all else. Fans that are truly loyal cannot be bought.
I hope the team and our coaches know there are many of us who are proud of our team and the way in which they conduct themselves both on and off the court. I know they will be back.
