To the editor:

Lew Perkins is out of control. College sports is out of control. You’d think they’d wait till Kansas University had a good football team, like Kansas State did, then put the screws to the people that supported KU/KSU football ALL those years that they struggled (that’s an understatement). But we all kept coming because it’s not all about KU football, it’s about visiting Lawrence and having fun with friends from KU. Lew Perkins is too greedy for me.

Since I don’t live in Lawrence, I don’t own KU football season tickets. But my dad has had them since 1959 and I travel back for at least one game a year. KU can say so long to their longtime loyal football fans. Just like KSU did.
