Lawrence Police said Tuesday that during the previous 24 hours they had handled the following:

Calls: 256

Reports: 27

Burglaries: four

Thefts: six

Noninjury accidents: five

Injury accidents: zero

Burglaries and thefts reported

• A 33-year-old Lawrence man reported Wednesday the theft of a 1999 yellow GMC truck in the 2000 block of Delaware Street. The truck was valued at $11,500.
• Beer and food items were taken early Sunday morning from a convenience store in the 1500 block of East 23rd Street, a 31-year-old Lawrence man told police. Losses were listed at $860.
