To the editor:

I have always known and appreciated Bob Davis and Max Falkenstien as great sports announcers on the KU Basketball Network. Now I have another reason why.

My wife, Karen, and I were traveling home Monday night from Dallas and were hopeful that we could hear the KU-Missouri game on the radio. The only station we could get was KMOX in St. Louis, which was carrying the Missouri Sports Network broadcast of the game.

The Missouri announcers did a good job, but they could not hold a candle to Bob and Max. My wife and I missed the crispness, the excitement, the enthusiasm and the great color and basketball knowledge that Bob and Max bring to the game.

Bob and Max, sorry I couldn’t hear you last night, but I appreciate you two now more than ever.
