No negotiation
To the editor:
Ellen Goodman is perplexed that, in the aftermath of the November elections, some politicians in the Democratic Party are seeking “common ground” in relation to opponents of abortion on demand (“Contraceptive common ground,” Jan. 31). Ms. Goodman just doesn’t get it: There can never be common ground between those who believe that it is acceptable to murder over 1 million babies each year and those who do not. It is as simple as that.
