Lawrence residents join advisory board

Three Lawrence residents have been named by Gov. Kathleen Sebelius to a board that provides input on the state’s juvenile justice system.

Erika Nilles-Plumlee was appointed to the Kansas Advisory Group on Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, and Lisa Crook and Mark Gleeson were reappointed.

Nilles-Plumlee is a project assistant for Partnership for Children and Youth Inc. Crook has worked with the Metropolitan Organization to Counter Sexual Assault since 2003. Gleeson is the family and children program coordinator for the Kansas Supreme Court’s Office of Judicial Administration.

Sebelius also named Judy Bredesen, of Coffeyville, and Vernon Chinn, of Pratt, to the board. She reappointed Nancy Lindberg, of Topeka.
