To the editor:

The article in the Journal-World on Dec. 15, concerning the president, says that he admits that the intelligence was faulty. Well, then, why in the world would he want to leave our men and women over in Iraq any longer? He has reached a new high in ignorance. I no longer have any semblance of respect for him. Our men and women are dying over there, and he is keeping them there to say that the United States did not back down.

Well, I think he should take himself over there and fight in the war he so badly wants to win. How would he feel if it were one of his children that had gotten killed over there? He is doing this because he wants to say we won. Well, in doing that we lose more than ever.

Give it up, let our people come home.

It galls me to hear him say he is a Christian. If that were the case he would have the nerve to stand and say he made a mistake, and he would bring our men and women home to the families that love and miss them and are worrying about them.
