A pizza delivery driver told police two men beat, kicked and robbed him when he went to deliver a pizza in south Lawrence, according to a report.

The 31-year-old employee of Pizza Shuttle told police he went to an apartment building at 2543 Redbud Lane about 5:25 p.m. Tuesday. When he arrived, two men struck him over the head, then punched and kicked him after he fell to the ground, according to a report.

The men stole his pizza and $38.50 in cash.

He described the men as a black male in his 20s about 5 feet 7 inches tall and 250 pounds with a mustache and goatee, and a white male about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 150 pounds with brown hair and a black long-sleeved sweatshirt.
