It’s all myth
To the editor:
I no longer live in Lawrence. However I do have ties to Lawrence.
The uproar over teaching creationism as a myth is absurd. Simply put, ALL religions are myths. Does not matter your personal thoughts or your friends.
The article in Saturday’s paper gives us something to ponder. John Altevogt rants against liberal thought. His statement that, “Liberalism is associated with authoritarianism, bigotry and corruption.” Uh, sounds like Mr. Altevogt is confusing liberal thought with the conservative Republicans in power today. Apparently Mr. Altevogt is as confused as most fundamentalists are.
