Ripe for scams

To the editor:

In 2005, the state of Kansas has become the laughingstock of the United States of America. Christian conservatives are taking over, and our university is rolling on its back. As the world watches the bizarre decisions of the school board in Kansas, the scammers and thieves are licking their chops! Beware citizens of Kansas, when you have the reputation of being the stupidest people in America, the scams will start!

According to 6News, they already have. If we, as a state, can allow our science standards to include “intelligent” design, then we must be gullible. Either that, or we aren’t paying attention. In either case, our state is ripe with people just waiting to get scammed – again.
