What he did: Somers, the state’s top-ranked 125-pounder, ran his season record to 11-0 after winning eight matches last weekend to claim the 130-pound championship at the Eudora Tournament of Champions. Somers had six pins and a pair of major decisions.

What she did: Huff averaged 17 points over three games last week. Her 20-point showing against Kansas City Wyandotte at the Shawnee Heights Invitational led the Lions to their first victory of the season. She is also battling back from a knee injury suffered last spring.
