When things go wrong, many of us are quick to squawk, and appropriately so. However, when things go particularly well, it is incumbent on us to make note of that too.
In preparation for upcoming elections and in response to the Help America Vote Act of 2002, Douglas County Clerk Jamie Shew has done a remarkable job of serving the people of Douglas County. His dedication to public awareness, his openness to public input and his responsiveness to voter concerns is truly government at its finest.
