CBS show to feature The World Company
The Lawrence Journal-World, 6News and their online partners in The World Company may be featured this week on the television program “CBS News Sunday Morning.”
A crew from the program was in Lawrence in early August to interview editors, reporters, bloggers and community members about the company’s “converged” approach to news gathering.
The eight- to 10-minute segment was tentatively slated to air Sunday. CBS producers said they wouldn’t know for sure until late today.
The program appears locally at 8 a.m. Sunday on Sunflower Broadband channels 5 and 13.
