Nineteenth Street from Barker Avenue to Haskell Avenue is scheduled to be closed through 9 a.m. today while crews repave the road. The project was delayed by rain.
Rain also delayed work on Haskell Avenue. Contractors will pave Haskell Avenue from 12th Street to 15th Street from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Tuesday.
The projects also will cause changes to public transit routes. The T's No. 2 route will not provide service on New Jersey Street, 15th Street, Barker Avenue, 19th Street, Moodie Road and 20th Street during the 19th Street repaving project.
During the Haskell Avenue project, changes will be made to bus route No. 1. For more information on route changes, visit www.lawrencetransit.org or call the transit office at 312-7054.
