A 23-year-old Kansas University student told police he came home Tuesday night and found a man dressed in all black and wearing a ski mask inside his home.
The incident happened about 8:15 p.m. in the 4200 block of Timberline Court.
The suspect ran away when discovered, police said, and it didn't immediately appear anything was taken from the home. Police are classifying it as a burglary and attempted theft.
