Parman to resign from Chamber

Lynn Parman, vice president for economic development at the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce, announced her resignation today to take a postion with the Kansas City Area Development Council.

Parman has overseen business-recruitment and -retention activities for the chamber since July 2002. She came to Lawrence from St. Joseph, Mo., where she had worked as vice president of business development for the St. Joseph Area Chamber of Commerce.
