A motorcycle crash injured an Edgerton woman Sunday afternoon in Baldwin on U.S. Highway 56.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported that Truell Lorraine Peters, 40, of Edgerton, lost control of her 2005 Suzuki at about 12:38 p.m. Sunday on U.S. Highway 56 near Baldwin High School.
She drove westbound, and the vehicle crossed the shoulder to the north ditch and the motorcycle turned on its side, the report said.
Peters did not wear a helmet, and Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical transported her to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. An LMH nursing supervisor said at 9 p.m. Sunday that Peters was in good condition.
