To the editor:
I am an animal lover. I will admit it. My pets are my best friends.
I was really disgusted with the man who wrote the letter to the editor printed Aug. 16.
He was irritated with the obviously caring people who found fault with his daughter and son-in-law locking their small dog in a car. It was 80 degrees outside. He said the windows were down "a little bit." That should have done it, right?
I would love to see him locked in a car on an 80-degree day. Oh, yet! I would let the windows be down a little bit.
