Old squabble
To the editor:
George Will does a disservice to himself, projecting the image of a bitter old person, with nothing more important to write about than his side of an old squabble (Journal-World, Aug. 12).
Like it or not, a great many Americans, regardless of their politics, believe Jimmy Carter is the most honest and moral person ever to have been the president of our country. A great many Americans also believe that, with his public service and example, his post-presidency has been one of the finest ever. May Will live long enough to earn a fraction of the respect that he deserves!
If Will is unable to give that respect, then he should be silent.

Lawrence
