A man and a woman were arrested by Lawrence Police on Sunday night after a car and foot chase that ended at the south edge of city, according to police.
The incident began about 9 p.m. with a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 1900 block of Heatherwood Drive. The suspects had left the area in a car that was spotted by an officer and pursued to North 1250 Road where the car went off the roadway and into a ravine, Sgt. Catherine Born said.
Officers converged on the area, conducted a search and arrested the suspects.
They were taken to the Douglas County Jail; charges are pending.
No one was injured in the incident. More information was expected to be released today.

Now that's the way a chase is supposed to happen. The last time I read about a chase to apprehend a domestic violence offended it was the lpd that let them excape by not locking the child safety locks. Ya gotta give it to em this time, fast learners!
