¢ Deborah Lipstadt, professor of modern Jewish and Holocaust studies, Emory University, and author of “Denying the Holocaust: The Growing Assault on Truth and Memory,” presents “History on Trial: My Day in Court with David Irving,” 7:30-9:30 p.m. Sept. 14, Kansas Union-Woodruff Auditorium.

¢ Salman Rushdie, novelist and essayist; author of “The Satanic Verses,” presents “Step Across This Line: An Evening With Salman Rushdie,” 7:30-9:30 p.m. Oct. 6, Lied Center.

¢ Samantha Power, founding executive director of the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy; Harvard adjunct lecturer; author of “A Problem From Hell: America and the Age of Genocide,” 7:30-9:30 p.m. Nov. 17, Kansas Union-Ballroom.
