To the editor:

The Patriot Act allows clandestine inspection of my library records and Internet activity for your protection. I doubt that a gun will ever be the weapon of choice in a homeland terrorist attack. I think they enjoy seeing us kill ourselves with untraceable hollow-point bullets. However, it is good to know that my breakfast eggs will soon be laser-etched for my protection.
