Police are asking for the public's help solving a burglary that occurred early Wednesday at a tavern in central Lawrence.
A witness called police about 3:40 a.m. Wednesday after seeing a man walking out of Stu's Midtown Tavern, 925 Iowa. Police came to the scene and found the glass on the bar's front doors had been smashed, and an office door inside had been forced open.
