An authorized retailer for Verizon Wireless, DirecTV, Dish Network and XM Satellite Radio plans to open later this month in northwest Lawrence.

Wichita-based Ensignal, a chain of 32 stores, is leasing 1,675-square-foot space adjacent to Taco Casa at Westgate Shops, a strip retail center southeast of Sixth Street and Wakarusa Drive.

The company has been operating stores in Colorado, Utah, South Dakota, Wyoming and New Mexico since acquiring Cameron Communications a couple years ago. Ensignal’s first Kansas store, in Wichita, opened earlier this year.
