City commissioners have no business to take care of on their regular agenda. Commissioners are scheduled to take care of several routine items as part of their consent agenda, including approval of a contract with Nowak Construction to relocate a waterline as part of a future project to rebuild Kasold Drive north of Peterson Road.

¢ approve all claims.

¢ approve drinking establishment licenses for Chartrosse Caboose, 1606 W. 23rd Street, and Cadillac Ranch, 2515 W. Sixth Street; and approve retail liquor license for Myers Retail Liquor, 902 W. 23rd Street.

¢ bid and purchase items:

a.) reject all bids received on July 12 Sixth and Indiana streets sewer improvements.

b.) authorize the city manager to enter into a contract with Univar USA for household hazardous waste collection disposal services for one year with options to renew annually for up to three years in an amount not to exceed $55,000.

c.) authorize city manager to enter into a contract with Nowak Construction for $105,000 for the waterline relocation at Kasold Drive bridge and Interstate 70.

¢ adopt on first reading an ordinance to rezone 1.004 acre from M-1 Industrial to RO-2 Residence-office. The property is located between E. 19th Street and Homewood Street.

¢ adopt on second and final reading:

a.) an ordinance establishing a reserved parking spot for persons with disabilities in front of 714 Ala.

b.) an ordinance establishing two-hour parking from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday in an area adjacent to Veteran’s Park between 18th and 19th streets.

c.) an ordinance authorizing Sunday sales of alcoholic liquor and cereal malt beverage pursuant to the provisions of 2005 Kansas Sessions Law.

¢ authorize the mayor to sign a subordination agreement for Kathleen Hunt, 2606 Belle Haven Drive.
