Ottawa University has promised the unborn child of a good Samaritan killed last month a full-ride scholarship.
The scholarship, given to Jonathan U's unborn child, was presented to his widow, Stephanie, last week.
U was killed after attempting to thwart a purse-snatcher attacking a fellow shopper in an Olathe Target parking lot in May. He suffered internal injuries and died June 8.
The child is expected to be born this month.
