Ugly reflections
To the editor:
Your definition for intelligent design (see page 11A in the Friday, April 22 Journal-World) has all the trappings of something done by a committee. The phrases “show signs of having been designed” and “unnamed intelligent being” are ugly reflections of the God who deserves and will receive much, much more than these puny phrases. The facts are that the heavens declare His glory and His names are clearly spelled out in His book (the Bible). God is an awesome God who spoke the world into existence, knows the end from the beginning and has made all things beautiful in its time. Nothing can be added to what God has done, and nothing can be taken from it.
I encourage those who support creationism to concentrate on magnifying His name in this present controversy. Be shrewd but don’t try to be politically correct when trying to reach people for God. To the evolutionist, I suggest you realize God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise. God does require an account of what is past. Every knee will bow to God, no exceptions.
