Extra Lawrence police officers will hit the streets tonight as part of a “saturation patrol” to stop drunk drivers.

The patrol will start at 5 p.m. and last until 3 a.m. The officers will be spread throughout the city, said Sgt. Dan Ward, a department spokesman.
